Involuntary Refunds:
In case of cancellation, failure to stop at destined airport, failure to operate flight reasonably at time or causing to miss a connecting flight, the amount of refund will be:
Full amount, if no portion of the ticket has been used.
If only a part of ticket has been used, the difference between the fare actually paid and the fare of the destinations which have been flown.
Voluntary Refunds:
The amount of refund will be:
Full amount, if no portion of the ticket has been used, minus any cancellation fees or service charges which may be applicable.
if only a part of the ticket has been used, the difference between the fare actually paid and the fare of the destinations which have been flown. Also deducted are the cancellation fees and the reasonable service charge.
Refund is also granted on the lost ticket if the passenger is able to provide satisfactory proof of the loss. There is also an attached provision that, in case the lost ticket is found and is used, then the person to whom refund is granted shall repay the refunded amount to the carrier.
Application of refund must be made within stipulated time period. If the application is made after 6 months of the expiry date, refund might be denied.
