Mileage Plan is the frequent flyer program of Alaska Airlines. Within the Mileage Plan, there is a Club49 program which is open to all residents of Alaska.
There are four levels of Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan elite status. These are given below:

You earn miles while flying on Alaska Airlines (or, buy a vacation package from it), or, any of its partner airlines depending on cabin class of travel, at rate of 1 mile for 1 accrual mile flown. For miles flown less than 500 miles, you earn a minimum of 500 miles.

1500 bonus miles are earned per booking (not per passenger) of vacation packages from Alaska Airlines. These are not counted for the purpose of determining elite status.
Alaska Airlines has partnerships with other airlines which enables you to earn more miles. These partner airlines are: Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Condor, Emirates, Fiji Airways, Finnair, Hainan Airlines, Icelandair, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, Latam Airlines, PenAir, Qantas, Ravn Alaska, Singapore Airlines, AeroMexico, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch airlines.
There are Shopping Partners of Alaska Airlines as well. About 10000 dining restaurants in USA (5 miles per dollar spent), more than 850 online stores, 1-800-Flowers.com, Carrs-Safeway, Diners Club International, GCI, The Opinion Terminal, Rover, Teleflora and Vinesse Wine Clubs are shopping partners where miles for Mileage program can be earned.
Hotel partners for Mileage program are: Best Western, Choice Hotels, Coast Hotels, InterContinental Hotels, La Qunita hotels, Marriott Rewards, RocketMiles and Starwood Preferred Guest Hotels and Westmark Hotels.
Car rental partners are Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, National and Thrifty. You earn points with these partners as per the arrangement with each of these.
Alaska Airlines has co-branded cards with Visa and Mastercard. If you spend using these cards, miles are earned.
For redeeming the miles earned in the Mileage Plus program, you can book an award flight once you have a minimum of 5000 miles one-way in your program. Precisely how many miles would be required for a particular journey would depend on your travel route from one region to another.
These regions are: Asia, Africa, Australia, Canada, Caribbean, Central America, Contiguous USA and Alaska, Europe, Hawaii, India and South Asia, Mexico, Middle East, New Zealand, South America and Pacific.
With effect from June 25, 2018, there are some changes to the award flights. These are:
Lowest rewards for short-distance have been further reduced for First Class travellers.
There has been reduction of refundable award level pricing on First Class flights. However, this applies only to flights which have shorter than 1,400 miles within the contiguous US and Alaska, and on those which have shorter than 2,100 miles flight distance from the US to Mexico.
For flights less than 1400 miles, there is a new lowest award of 10,000 miles for passengers travelling on Main Cabin flights from California to selective destinations in Mexico
Hawaii awards starting as low as 15,000 miles one-way.
