Codeshare partners: There are 25 airlines with which the Singapore Airlines has codeshare agreements. These include SilkAir which is the regional wing of the carrier and operates to 12 countries covering 46 destinations. These enable you to travel around the world, even to places where Singapore Airlines does not operate. Traveling with these partners also comes with a range of benefits including the baggage allowance, check in times, matters of special assistance and carriage of animals. These codeshare partners are: Aegean, Air Canada, Air India, Air New Zealand, All Nippon Airways, Asiana, Brussels, EgyptAir, Ethiopian, EVA Airways, Garuda Indonesia, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Malaysia, Scandanavian, Shenzhen, SilkAir, South African, Swiss International, Transaero, Turkish, US Airways, Virgin Australia, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin America.
Star Alliance: Singapore airlines is also a member of the Star Alliance which has 26 member airlines. This network is spread to 193 countries covering 1269 destinations. Being a member of the alliance permits the passengers of Singapore Airlines to have more benefits and privileges from other airline partners.
