The national carriers of Abu Dhabi and Argentina have entered into a codeshare agreement which will be effective from 1^st February 2015. As per the agreement, the passengers of Etihad will be able to extend their reach to 20 other destinations in South America, spread across Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay.

Etihad and other airlines of the Gulf region have been actively engaged in progressive partnerships with key players in aviation sector of different regions/countries. Codeshare agreements are also a key part of the expanding the outreach to different regions of the world, without having to increase the size of fleet. It saves costs and provides opportunities of immediate connectivity for passengers.
