In-flight Experience Gets Better in United Airlines with Gogo’s Air-to-Ground Wi-Fi

October 17, 2014

Delivering better in-flight experience has always been a top priority of the airlines. This is an important component of their product differentiation strategy which differentiates them from their competitors. Providing Wi-Fi access has been one of the key components of this strategy. United Airlines has decided to use this facility on regional flights on more than 200 United Express jets. This will permit the users to not only stream videos on their computers, tablets and smart phones but also on in-flight entertainment systems (overhead and seatback). Till now, United had been using the satellite-based Wi-Fi systems on its bigger aircraft.
