Lufthansa’s New Destinations- Reykjavik and Aalborg

Lufthansa Airlines has added new destinations to its network-Reykjavik and Aalborg and the flights will commence from 2nd May, 2015 and 29th March, 2015 respectively.

The carrier already operates flight to Copenhagen and Billund and Aalborg will be the third city in Denmark for Lufthansa to fly to. There will be 2 flights a day and 14 in a week from Frankfurt to Aalborg. 90 seater Bombardier CRJ900 will be used on this route with two classes of service-Economy and Business. Aalborg is known for being an educational hub with a number of colleges located there. At the same time, it is a centre of metal, chemical and textile industry. Operating flights there will give Lufthansa a chance to reach out to the potential customers in the northern Denmark area of Jutland.
Lufthansa will also be operating non-stop flights to Reykjavik with 2 flights in a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays. Airbus A319 will ply on this route having 138 seats ( in both business and economy class).
