Posted on January 18, 2017I need to take my 49″ inch (box size differ) LED TV from Dubai to Cochin. I heard, need to pay an amount of 190 AED as handling charges. While paying this amount, the TV weight will be excluded from 30 kg luggage???? Also can u explain is there any TV carton BOX size to taken care for including it in luggage???

Posted on January 23, 2017This handling charge is because the size of LED TV being carried is more than 39 inches. If total weight of the check in baggage is more than permitted allowance, then even that would be chargeable separately. It is TV screen size which is considered for levy of handling charge.
